Champagnes are fine and lively wines. Their distinctive features stem from their utterly unique terroir, the harsh climate and the vine’s hillside location. The grape varieties, predominantly Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir, exude subtle flavors that provide each Grand Cru with its own distinctive expression.
This appellation, comprising 18,000 hectares of vines, includes the hinterland of the Var from Le Luc to the Estérel, the Mediterranean border from Hyères to Fréjus and Saint-Tropez.
